Drowning

Mixed media piece layered with resin & 'black mirror' paint on a wood panel topped with gemstones including amethyst. 60x60cm includes four 30x30cm wood panels. This piece represents the difficulty of life and the trauma that we survive. Despite the little gems of happiness, occasionally it can feel like we are drowning. The only word I could use to describe how I felt making this piece is 'Drowning'.
